Larry had a small, old cedar deck that he wanted to update into an over-the-top masterpiece. We designed the whole project, and he loved it! Due to his location, we did 20 feet engineered screw piles to start off, with 2×12 beams. We used joist tape to ensure the frame will last as long as the PVC boards. He chose Fiberon PVC Flagstone, with the borders and splines in Composite Graphite. To give this unique look, the deck boards on the sides are diagonal with a parallel walk from the house to the gazebo. We installed custom glass and aluminum railing, and custom deck lighting. We built a pressure treated custom gazebo, wrapped in PVC, with a cedar tongue and groove ceiling, and PVC skirting. We also designed custom planters with built-in bench seating and a built-in BBQ to finish it all off!
