IT'S ABOUT THE PEOPLE

I've called Edmonton home for 25 years and worked in construction since I was 18. Decks became my focus 15 years ago . What started as evenings-and-weekends work went full-time 13 years ago, and I haven't looked back.

What keeps me in it is the people. I love designing and building the spaces where families and friends come together and make memories, and I love watching a project come together detail by detail. The relationships I build with clients in those few weeks, and handing over something I'm genuinely proud of – that's the whole job for me.

Outside of work you'll usually find me doing music, photography, design, or out in the yard, with my son and our two dogs never far behind.

We're a family-oriented crew, and it shows in the work. Some of us have built together for over a decade; some are friends and family who step in when we get busy. Every one of them is someone I trust on your property.

Trevor's been with Edmonton Decks for nearly a decade, and he's raised our standard of quality and pride to where it is today – his workmanship and eye for detail are second to none. He and his high-school sweetheart are raising two kids of their own, and somewhere along the way he stopped being crew and became family. These days we all vacation and hang out together regularly.

LESLIE

Leslie keeps the office running and has been with us for four years. A retired officer from the military, she brings the same discipline and reliability to our admin that our crews bring to the build.

ANDREW

A Red Seal journeyman carpenter I've known since I was a kid – and Leslie's husband. Andrew steps in when we need an extra set of expert hands, and brings the same standard we're known for.

A Red Seal journeyman carpenter, and the person I started in this trade alongside 25 years ago. When we get busy, Pete's who we call – I've trusted his work for a quarter century.
