Connor came to us wanting to replace a worn ground-level deck. During our site visit, we discovered that both the deck and the existing roof structure weren’t properly supported, so this project turned into a bit more than just a deck replacement. We removed the old deck while supporting the roof, added engineered screw piles, and rebuilt the deck a little larger than the original. We also replaced the roof beam and support posts with stained cedar to make sure everything was solid.

He went with Fiberon Bungalow for the main boards with Espresso border and accents, which looks great. When you walk out the door, two splines lead you to the extra-wide stairs, and the front half of the deck is wrapped in custom-built planter boxes. We added lighting to provide the perfect finishing touch!
